Tallis Wing's POV

Suddenly there was a monstrous screech coming from the other direction. Then a black figure jumped out and started attacking us.

"Gah!" I yelled. "It's those things from before!"

Hestia immediately took control and started burning the huge creature.

"Tallis!!!" Thalia screamed. She then made rocks and pieces of the earth hurtle at something behind me.

I looked to see what it was.

Another monster. But this time it had claws. Sharp, long, claws. A high pitched noise erupted from it.

"Aaaah!!!" We all screamed and put our hands over our ears. I felt almost paralyzed and I couldn't move, the others were all the same.

"Tally!!!" One of them yelled, but I couldn't tell which.

The monster finally stopped it's irritating sound, and we were left to stay paralyzed for a few seconds more. But before we could move the monster lunged at Thalia.

"Thalie!!!" I screamed. I then used my new found powers, and pushed the creature back with a gust of wind. It landed hard against a tree. I looked back at Thalia. "You okay!?"

She looked at me grateful. "Yes... Thank you Tallis."

I then remembered the first monster. I looked back and saw that Hestia and Lilly were just finishing driving it off. Once it had fled they looked back at us. Hestia then did an underhand throw motion and a line of flames formed. But she didn't direct it at the monster, it was sent to me.

I immediately jumped out of way, and the flames didn't follow. "Hestia!?" I screamed.

"Oh gosh! I'm so sorry Tallis! I didn't mean to---" Before she could finish her sentence Lilly yelled.

"Guys! Help!" I looked over and her and Thalia were fighting the monster, throwing blasts of water and earth at it.

"Right!" Hestia yelled.

I began slicing the creature with sharp, short streaks of wind. But then shooting pain went up my leg.

"Gah!!!" I looked down and saw a spot of it was on fire.

"I'm so sorry Tallis, I didn't mean to!" Hestia said. "Lilly!"
