THE WAVES

The waves started up. They got higher and higher. "She should be back by now" I yelled to Dawn. "Preston! Shut up! I think i her!"
There she was. Screaming help. Gasping for air. Falling under the water. I tried swimming to her but the waves just pushed me back. It was too late. I didn't hear her or see her anymore. I collapsed onto the sandy shore and fell asleep.

The next morning her sad dead body was lying next to mine...
