I don't know how well this went, but I experimented with some different shading.

1) I liked it originally, but by the end of this experiment it was a bit too simple, and texture-less. Basically just pen-pressure opacity and highlights. :3

2) Added major highlights and texture, but it kind of ended up looking like warts...IDK...

3) Closest to my current style, but not totally - once again, more texture, and the highlights are different. Probably my favorite. :3

4) The simplest, with very little highlights - just wanted to see what it would look like. :3

for me I think number 4 is the best? xD

Yeah, I like number 4, but I think it could use a little more, too? Maybe try mixing 3 and 4 or develop 4 a bit more? I like the way it's going though! :'D
