this is my entry! this is a hudor likos. that is Greek for the water wolf. its mostly a meat eater but it can eat plants too. the "pups" are brightly colors with neon colors. their tails and eye color are always the same! so a yellow eye and a green eye means a yellow tail with green stripes. it is very rare to find on with horns, or diff color tails. when adult their colors change. green to blue, blue to purple, purple to yellow, yellow to orange, to red, than brown than black. there is no real pattern tho. they normaly live in shallow lakes, rivers, and beaches. its hard and rare to find pups with their parents because they would separate at the age of 5 months old. its hard to catch them for they can swim up to 60 mph in the water. they can walk but not very well. the best method to catch them is to locate them, put a glass circle in the water, than drain out all the water. then u can catch it faster. its uncommon to see 3 or more in a zoo. females are very dark colored one the age of 2 years old. males (like cardinals) are bright colored forever to attract the females. they are endangered so finding them is getting harder.
