Takashi and Laven are not the closest of friends, in fact if you ask Takashi, they are not friends at all. Takashi refuses to call Laven by his nickname, instead calling him Lavenderr, which Laven really hates. In retaliation Laven calls Takashi "Kashi" or "Taka" in an attempt to get a rise out of him, but it never works (even though Takashi secretly hates it).
