Well Thundercrash chooses first and if I like the remaining pup, or pups, then chances are I'll keep them. If there's still any left over from when Thunder and I have chosen then the remaining go up for adoption

Yeah, it's fine if you want to gift them to other people, if you're going to do that then you can take pup 3 as well to gift or keep.
