I just now remembered the battle I had with Zygarde (or however you spell it- I forgot) last year after I beat the game.

Actually- I knew that there was something in the cave it was in before I got the guide. And when I found Zygarde I seriously could not stop squealing in my thoughts about how amazing/cute/adorable it was despite it being so tall.

So when I battled it (I'm going to refer it to 'him' now), I realized how much I wasn't prepared.

The massive Pokemon seriously HATED me. He refused to be captured at least four times and I started to just rage.
The problem was that I kept defeating him with my Skiddo that was a lower level (THIS REMINDS ME OF MY TEAM IN FIRE RED ;A;) or either I ran out of Poke balls/Dive Ball (pfft we arent even underwater |D)/very few ultra balls/ quick ball/ timer balls. Yet I had mostly Poke balls- I barely even used any other type of Poke Ball in my Pokemon X (Pokemon Y hasn't been finished because I just cant deal with these Fire/Flying/Poison types team flare has).
So then I started getting bored and just ignored Zygarde while throwing poke balls, reading through the guide book, admiring my Fennekin plush, and/or tending to my fire (don't worry- it was in a fireplace :U).
And then I realized after.... about 2-3 hours of not even looking at Zygarde- I realized for some reason I couldn't throw another ball.
And after all that, I had caught Zygarde.
Since he was so stubborn to get in that ultra ball, I named him Stubborn despite the fact that I had other name ideas before.

And yet the funny thing was that the time I did catch him I was behind him when I battled him. He was roaring at nothing when the battle started. |D

Story time's over- now let me get back to doing whatever I was doing. ovo

Edit;; Oh and the reason I didnt add in Zygarde was because Singe's face was in the way I can't draw Zygarde. ovo

i cant tell you how many times this has happened to me, ill lower its hp down to freakin 1 AND NOT EVEN AN ULTRA BALL WILL CATCH IT then after going through all my good pokeballs i resort to the original pokeball and it catches it and im like -.- PICKY PICKY STUBBORN LIL PUNK

I know right!?!?
But I seriously adore the little guy- I really like any Pokemon that's large/tall and acts scary for they look adorable to me.
That whole battle took me such a long time though- I just was like '......NOW you join me. It's -insert very late time- Zygarde!! Now let me have sleep! >:UUU'
I can't even get the music out of my head it's just stuck there. |3
Yet the times I defeated him just reminded me of a really old game I lost- I had found a Mewtwo and beat it in one hit with every pokemon in my party and I just could not figure out why. They were all lower levels than that Mewtwo and I had used my master ball on Motres I think. -.-

Slap it. Then throw a Pokeball.

I find that making threats help. If not, plead to it as if it can actually hear you. (I know, it's pretty sad when you start talking to a video game)

I make threats to pokemon I try to catch and it actually works.
