Match Dog #1

What is a Match Dog?
A Match Dog is what you get when you cross sweet, fun loving, balls of fluff with fire. The perfect recipe, yes?
Ranging from three to five feet tall, and ten to twelve feet from snout to tail, these fluffy-pups are pretty big once they're full grown. With pointy ears and accenting flimsy-horns, Match Dogs have a sharp sense of hearing; also pairing up to their great sense of smell to help with hunting. Unfortunately, Match Dogs don't have the best vision, and towards the end of their life span, they are nearly blind. So make sure you keep those oldies close!
Notorious for always carrying an emergency match with them, Match Dogs love and live on fire! Their tail color changes according to their emotion, so when they're mad, they're really fiery! Contrary to this love for fire, Match Dogs also have webbed paws, gills hidden beneath their thick fur, and head-fins to aid in their amazing swimming abilities--they can stay beneath the surface for up to thirty minutes and swim a hundred yards in under a minute! Though most tend to prefer living on land and spending the majority of their time there.
Loyal, loving, protective, soft, and fun-loving, Match Dogs can put up a fight is need be, or curl up with you at their side when you need 'em.

Matchy's Mood

Burnt-Out Red ✗ Oh he or she's pissed! It takes quite a bit to get them to this point, but it's probably best if you give them some time to calm down and relax.
Pale Red ✗ You're MD is in distress, whether its because of something you've done or something that's bugging 'em. MD's tails are usually found pacing a small area of their tail is orange. Try calming him or her down; if it doesn't seem to be working, give them some space.
Orange ✗ Your MD is pretty annoyed right now--try treating them or giving them some space <3
Yellow ✗ Your MD is normal, happy, and glad to be around--this is where their tail color typically remains the majority of the time
Blue ✗ Your MD isn't feeling to great, a little sad maybe--work hard and try to be silly to make them laugh! <3
Grey ✗ Hopefully you don't see this; it indicated that your MD is either very-very sick, or depressed.
Pale Green ✗ Your MD is very at peace if you see this--their tail may resign to this color when they sleep or when they lay with you to chill :)
Deep Purple ✗ Your MD is acting affectionate towards you, the owner; they don't flash this color too often, but when they do they mean that they really love and respect you <3
Magenta ✗ *whistle* Ohhh, look's like someone's got a crush! This shade is never shown to an owner, only a lover
Turquoise ✗ Your MD is ecstatic! If you see teal, your MD is usually jumping about and playing with you or someone else, just lost in the moment of joy
White ✗ If a MD is ill, or injured severely, and they pass on--their tail will flash white and dim out as they lose their life. Hopefully you don't have to witness this </3

Hueheuhue, I couldn't help myself ;u; <3 I needed to make one~
