1: ^w^ means to be very happy and cute at the same time. often used to say "thank you" after someone has complemented or bought art from the artist
2: @.@ means to be overly happy. often used when the artist has created a piece of art they are very pleased with or has received a piece of from another artist that they very much enjoy
3: -.- or =.= means to be unexcited or more commonly pure laziness. often used when there is a mistake that the client has pointed out and now they must fix it, or when someone states what they perceived as mistake but was done on purpose and the artist must explain that it was suppose to be like that, one more use of this term is when a piece of art does not turn out the way the artist had intended. there are many other uses for this expression
4: -3- means to not want to work or fix something, or in short "i don't wanna" often used when the artist is overworked for long periods at a time by drawing or simply by requests and no longer wants to work or when the artist is asked the same thing repeatedly
5: 8D or 0n0 means to be shocked, this could be both positive or negative. often used when when something unexpected happens, good or bad. both 8D and 0n0 can be positive, can be used when they see an exceptional piece of art or when a client is give a lot of pets for a piece of art. for negative, only 0n0 can be used, often to show that the artist is offend by a comment of a very low payment.
6: D:< or >B( means to be angry. often used when the artist is thinking "What did you just say about my art?!?!" fallowed with some violent and angry thoughts this normally is thought, not posted, can also be used when every one is asked for something and you say no many many times
most of these emotions aren't normally used in text, but the artist is thinking of them
i'm not implying any thing, but i think every artist has have the emotions 1, 3 and 6 ^^
