Here's a few things that will make you more likely to win:
Being descriptive - I like whenever they are descriptive, and in sentence form!
Make It "Something lovely to the eye" - As the Wicked Witch says, "Something lovely to the eye". That's always going to draw my attention.
Use the Form - As much as I like prettying up and such, make the base be my form please. ^^
Art - I'd love to see some art of her already. ^^ You can order it from anyone or make it yourself!
Creative - Creativity people! I'd love to see something imaginative, as it makes me even more excited about reading it.

She was bullied when she was younger. (Which spurs up her defensiveness.) They always made fun of her face. (One day she got to close to the toaster oven and had a small burn on her cheek.) She got so fed up with her school mates that she put a mask on to stop them from laughing. Which surprisingly made them stop. Almost like her mask was magic. So to this day, she still wears it!
