How to use the editable!
Coloring the Layers
When you first open the drawing, you will notice in the layer box to the right of the screen that there are a lot of layers. But fear not- I've already colored a lot of the edits, so all you have to do is click the little circle next to the layer of the add-on, and then scroll down and click on the layer that says the add-on and then color. Then you check "Lock alpha", which is right above the list of layers in the layers panel/box.
For example, if you wanted to add on the Collar, you would scroll up to where it says "Collar" and then click the circle next to the layer, and then scroll back down to where you see "Collar color" and click that. Then you make sure to check "lock alpha" and begin coloring!
Adding Your Own Line Edits
If you don't see something that you really want to add onto the fox in the layers box, you could draw it yourself. You can do this by making two layers. One layer above all of the other layers, and one layer just above the "body lines" layer. The layer on top will be the lines, and the layer beneath is the color.
To make the lines look as neat as possible, I would recommend using the size six pen on full opacity, at least if you have a tablet, like I did. If not that's okay, although you may have to try a size four.
Once you have your lines done, you can color it in c:
If you'd rather have me draw it, just suggest an add-on below, and I'll see if I can add it to the editable!
Making the Background Transparent/Re-sizing Image
Want a transparent background?
Here are some easy steps to look all cool and professional!
1. Color the fox in, make it look like how you want it to.
2. Once you are done, hide all of the background layers by making sure the little circle/bubble next to the name of the layer is unfilled/white. The backgrounds all have BG in the name of the layer.
3. Once you've hidden all of the backgrounds, the background should be grey and white checkered squares. Save the drawing and post it.
4. Once the drawing is posted, right click on the finished picture. If you are using Google Chrome as your browser, you should see something like "Open image in new tab". (If you are using Firefox it is similar). Click that, and the image only will appear in the tab. The URL at the top will be something like this: "http://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/image/image.php?id=1807760&size=large&format=auto&rev=1388522952"
5. Now, if you want the background transparent, you take the "auto&rev" and change it to "png&rev". Now your URL will say "http://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/image/image.php?id=1807760&size=large&format=png&rev=1388522952" Highlight the URL, (and paste it into the post you want your picture to be in) and above in the post editing, you should see the little bar that has the bold, italics, underline, quote, code, etc... there will be a little grey box with "Img". Click that, and the URL will have img or /img on either side.
6. When you post it should be transparent. If you want to resize it, you do the same thing, except instead of putting png where auto was, you put "medium" or "small" where "large" is, which is a little bit before auto&rev.
