Pup Name: Buck (short for Buckeye).
* Buckeye would be his name for two reasons. My family always chooses to make buckeyes (those peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate) for Christmas, and because my boyfriend is a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
* The occasional friend or relative insists on calling him Buckaneer instead. Buckaneer (an alternative spelling to Buccaneer) refers to a type of pirate.

Personality: Buckeye could best be described as the 'seductive stunner.' Once you're under the spell of his love, it's hard for you to escape! He's not manipulative, however. He stays true to himself and to those around him. He's simply privileged to be as handsome as he is. He's rather sensitive himself; Buck is a toughie on the outside, but he'll stay sad for days and mope around, just at the mention of a harmless little joke. He's sweet and lovable. His large muscles are proof of his athleticism. He loves all sorts of sports; in fact, he spends most Christmases watching the NBA games.
Buck's own biggest critic is himself. People call him hypercritical, but he can't help but see all of his own flaws. He's constantly self-conscious about his physical and personal attributes. He's analytical and overthinks everything. He's not necessarily a pessimist, but he's certainly paranoid. He believes that his largest flaw is his inability to stay happy, even though he is well-liked. When in a cheerful mood, Buckeye frequently makes corny jokes that amuse only himself. He has a really sweet laugh, almost musical, and he likes making others smile, even though he refuses to plant a permanent smile on his own face.
Buckeye is incredibly gentlemanly and respectful of women. The truth is, though he is composed of tough elements like a large body and muscular structure, he's a softie at heart. He's a big teddy bear who loves hugs and cuddling just as much as the next guy. He is easily manipulated and a little bit of a pushover, though he can be a bit physically overpowering due to his large size. He can be a bit forceful, and he loves to argue with his family. He finds his way into logical arguments, especially with his mother, because he fights long and hard to get his way constantly.
All in all, Buckeye is rather loving. Relationship-wise, he likes to spoil the girl that he's with. Though he fights for what he wants (simply because he's opinionated, not because he has a big head), he's all-around unselfish and honest. He puts others before himself. He loves to help others out. He's generally the one that holds the door for ladies or carries the groceries when everyone else is tired. When he needs to manage something, especially schoolwork, he's astonishingly lazy. Buckeye's most attractive physical feature is that he always smells good.
