Hello, and welcome to Dragon Adoptables! Feel free to look around.

Announcements

None at the current time.

Rules

1. Do not steal any dragons that don't belong to you.
2. You may not sell or give away your dragon. If you don't want it anymore, contact me and I'll put it up for adoption again. If it is a custom, you are still not allowed to sell it or gift it, but I won' re-adopt it out.
3. Do not attempt to bribe me.
4. Please don't ask to be staff or an artist. If I am looking for any, there will be an announcement.
5. Don't spam the thread. Questions, relative comments, and such are alright, but no "hi" or "whats up peeps" and things like that.
5. I will add more rules if necessary.

Strikes and Bans

If you break a rule, you get a strike. Your first offense will just get you a warning. Once you have three strikes, you will be banned and won't be able to adopt any more. You can keep any dragons you have, however.

This list will be kept private, so don't worry about being embarrassed if you accidentally broke a rule or two. c:

Dragons are scaly, winged, fire
breathers, with spines along their backs and gems under their eyes.

Dragons currently come in two spine types. The most common is triangular. The second, much rarer type is a fur-like ruff all the way down to the tip of the tail.

The gems under the eyes of the dragon are the source of their power. They enable them to breath fire and perform various other magical abilities, such as gem or precious metal purifying. The gem color does not correlate with their power, except in two very rare cases: Black or white gems. Dragons with black gems have power over death, dragons with white gems have power over life. Both are very, very rare.

In some cases, dragons are born with mutations. These can be anything from extra or missing gems to double tails.Mutations aren't super rare, but not exactly common either.

Adoption

I will periodically make dragons for people to adopt. They are free to adopt, but there will be a form and a bit of a competition. These contests will end when there are three entrants or a week has passed, whichever comes second. All competitions will end within a month, unless there are no entrants.

Most pre-made dragons with a form will have an 'Other' spot. This is always optional unless stated otherwise.

Customs

I will make customs for people, but there is a cost. All of the prices listed below are approximate, I am willing to work out a deal. c:

For a normal dragon, with no mutations or powers(except fire-breathing): Any pet common or higher.

For a dragon with 1-2 mutations or 'normal' powers(jewel or metal abilities, special fire types, etc.): Any pet uncommon or higher.

For a dragon with 3-5 mutations or advanced powers(element control, invisibility, etc.): Any pet rare or higher.

For a dragon with 6-10 mutations or multiple powers: Any pet very rare or higher.

For a dragon with more than 10 mutations or black/white gems: Any List Pet.

Yes, you can breed your dragons if you have a male and a female. However, you must own both dragons that are breeding. Breeding is free, and all dragons will have one child. After a dragon has bred, you must wait 2 weeks for a male to be breed again and 4 weeks to breed a female again.

Please don't breed them anywhere else. I know some people run breeding shops and such but I would like it done here, by me.
