Story time! (I know in legends Sleipiner is Odins horse but for the sake of my story Loki stole him haha)
A dark haired man stood on the shore. While the eight legged steed of myth and legend stood nearby prancing and whinnying in its excitement to once more be moving onward. The man ignored his mounts excited pleas and kept his eyes on the sea. He was waiting for something, he did not quite know what but he knew that something had called him here.

A sleek black equine head broke the oceans surface, calm blue eyes regarded the shore with curiosity. He had heard the stories of creatures that lived on land, humans and GOS with two extra legs instead of one long tail. The GOS swam closer to the shore his powerful tail propelling him through the water with ease. The stallions curiosity had been peaked upon seeing the human and the equine with eight legs that was currently pacing rather restlessly.

Although two did not know it they held things in common. Their names were the same and so was the aspect of trickery in the personality of each soul. The god however was more inclined to cruel trickery while the GOS who shared his name was more into silly tricks that would never hurt anyone or anything just annoy. From one to another differences don't always mean clashes between two different souls. Sometimes it can mean friendship. What it would mean for the two who shared a name, was unknown to even the great powers of the waking world.

So it was that the young god caught sight of the patched Guardian and stared at him. Eyes met and they drew closer to one another. The distance between steadily decreasing until it was no more. Guardian and god eyes one another before a sneeze broke the concentration of the two legged water equine. The god laughed at the horses seemingly disgruntled expression and reached out to run his fingers through the dark as midnight mane. Blue eyes stared up at him before the horse sighed and pushed his head into Loki's hand.

In that moment a bond had been struck. A bond to test the waters of the learning world and one to known for ages yet to come.
