Jack Evans wasn't always who he is now. Wrongly accused of murder and theft, Jack ran from his old life, creating a new one, spending it in hiding, secretly tracking down the real villain. He as become very close to discovering the plot, but then, he saves an 11 year old girl from a dangerous situation, and his life becomes much more complicated. Tara, the girl, teams up with a reluctant Jack to find her brother, who had been kidnapped by a man who might be the man Jack is looking for. As they work together, however, they find that many things are not what they seem, even some things they have known a long time.
