Avian dragons

What are Avian Dragons?

Avian Dragons are a furry type of dragon, normally around the size of a timber wolf.

Each Avian dragon has a guardian bird species which they are connected to, no two Avian dragons have the same guardian bird. All Avian Dragons have two feathers attached to their wings from the species which is their guardian. In their design they also will have features that bird also has.

AD's (Which is short for Avian Dragons) can communicate, and are known to forge lasting bonds, with that species of bird.

Diets and other aspects of Avian dragon life.

Avian dragons eat the same things as their bird does-For example, an Avian Dragon with a humming bird guardian would drink nectar, and one with an eagle guardian would eat meat.

Avian dragons often live in groups called Flocks, which are grouped together on either diet or species. (ie. There might be a flock of avian dragons that eat insects, and another with different types of falcons as their guardians.) However, sometimes an Avian dragon will just live on it's own or with relatives.

Only avian dragons with bird of prey guardians are territorial.
