Just a little something I made as a small vent, and for drawing practice.
It makes me so sad whenever I see someone say something like "If you are a COPPA, don't trade with me" or "Ugh, COPPA's are so annoying sometimes" or "COPPA's are stupid"
We can't help our age. We can't help the fact that we can't post or send trade messages. It's the law in the U.S. that we need to be protected, and I think it's a very smart law, because I'm concerned about my safety online, even though I know that I'd never give out any information. The sad thing is, even people over thirteen sometimes give out personal info online, which just results in problems.
I'm not stupid. I've been on CS for almost a year and a half, I know how it works. I know how to trade, and so do the majority of COPPA's. I feel like when someone says "I won't trade with you just because you're COPPA" or "You can't enter this contest if you're COPPA because you're a burden" it's like they're saying "I won't let you enter this contest because you're you. My age is a part of my identity, and I hate when people make generalizations about it. Adults have told me that I'm mature. They don't care about my age, they care about how I act. I'll be un-COPPA'd -removed-, but until then, I'm keeping my head held high knowing that those things aren't true.
