Furideer are ultra friendly, ultra fluffy creatures that have many traits of a deer. They're rather canine-like, but are only linked to dogs, wolves and foxes by a little. They are quite baffling, as most of their DNA is similar to deer and its relatives, but with a hint of dog.
They have an omnivorous diet of mostly fruit, bark and leaves, though they do eat the occasional lizard or bird. They make a sound just like a deer, though it is slightly cropped like a 'woof'. Furideer are super social and friendly, loving to snuggle with their family or owner. They are easily tamed and adore attention, having no vicious bone in their furry body. They come in all colours, and despite their first appearance, can get very colourful. Their patterns aren't usually that complex, mostly consisting of two to five different coat shades.

Name-
I would name this Furi Periwinkle, or Peri (pronounced like "Perry"), for short.
Periwinkle is the name of a tiny purple flower as well as a light blueish-purple color. The color periwinkle is very similar to her fur color, and the flower is very important to her (stated in "favorite color"), so I thought that Periwinkle would be a perfect fit.

Peri would be a female.
Perhaps a little more on the tomboyish side, but still a female.
Favorite color and why-
Believe it or not, Peri is nearly entirely colorblind. Just about everything is completely gray to her, so she has never had the opportunity to experience hardly any colors.
However, there is one color she can see, and that is only a very vibrant shade of purple.
And so, on the rare occasion that she does stumble across this specific color, she is delighted. As it is the only color she knows, it's very dear to her; this is why she will wear periwinkle flowers in her mane and tail, because she can actually see their color.
