Congrats to :Froggi on their new Fern Puff, Piper!

This is one of my favorite Fern Puff designs I've made so far. It's a rare coloration featuring both stripes and spots. She is female. You can pick to draw or order art (unlimited), or create a story for her. If you write a story, please include her as being royalty, or having some kind of leadership over a family group. She is a Wild Fern Puff, not owned by anyone.

Piper loves the world and is not afraid of the whispers in the night, nor the angry cries of predators. She is proud and fearless, with a fiery and spirited personality. She's as wild and untamed as the mighty wind, but just like the wind, she has her soft spots too. Her heart is as loving as they come, and Piper will stop at nothing to protect the ones she loves. She will stop her world to settle down and care for a fearful one. Piper's eyes are full of the wonders of the realm she sees, of dancing fireflies, of storm blown songs, of swooping larks. She loves the wild and reckless marvels of nature as she loves herself. Her family is beautiful in her sight, and she is descended from a long line of royalty, and is known all around as a wonderful and bold princess.

Piper does not excel through talent, but through her hard work, determination, and passion. She loves to paint, with blazing colors and bold strokes. Found on the hollow of trees and the underside of leaves...

Family history:
Her ancestors were traced back to when the Native Americans lived here, and history tells they lived alongside, peacefully, with them. They both respected nature and the life around them, and got together quite well, with the leaders of both groups taking walks together underneath the shade of the autumn trees. But as time passed, the family group of Fern Puffs grew more an more distant from human beings, to the point where they started avoiding them.
Centuries went by.
The fern puff descendants grew considerably in size.
Now, only a few people know about the small families that live in the trees, and the ones that don't know cut down the trees, so the fern puffs need to be careful.
The descendants moved a place with hardly any humans; I would tell you, but the forest is to be kept pure and secret (and maybe even a little magical).
Special Note: only for this family line of fern puffs.

I think I remember....

A storm of orange birds swooped by as I landed on the tree branch with a small thud. I glanced around cautiously, but could hear nothing except a small breeze from the hills and the rustling leaves. The sun was just beginning to rise, and I would admit, between the rosy sky and the clean, sweet, morning air, I could just taste the essence of life. It was beautiful...
The silence was broken by a quiet sneeze in the green brambles. I laughed and jumped upon the creature inside. My brother emerged from under my arms with a squeak, and we rolled down the grassy hill together, wind on our faces, dew clinging onto our silky fur.

My mother was waiting for us at the bottom of the hill. She was trying to look mad, but it was clear that she was suppressing a giggle. Her inward childness won over, and she laughed and wrapped us in a warm hug. I could smell the familiar scent of acorns and just hear the sweet tinkling of bells in the distance. I smiled.

Afternoon comes. The sun beams high in the sky, with a wind blowing hard. I bound across the meadow, tasting the sky and stopping occasionally to nibble on a flower. I watched the soaring birds, wondering if I could fly. I wonder.....
I dream....

That night I couldn't fall asleep. The stars above my head seemed to shine down at me, and I knew I wasn't lost.

Harper is a quiet Fern who likes to sleep and enjoy the wildlife around her. She will usually sit on the biggest branch and lazy there lazily. When her family and friends are near by, she's rambunctious and talkative.

If no one finishes their forms in time, this Fern Puff will become un-adoptable. It may go up for re-adoption in the future, but this is uncertain. I may simply give this Fern Puff to a suitable owner.
