What are they?

Horned Dragons are a small canine like species living in the Northern United States, Canada, and Russia. They have thick layers of fur, which is both water proof, and aids in fighting against the cold of the north. Their tails are quite short, and made of thick tube-like fur. It is very rare to find a Horned Dragon with a tail longer then usual. Finally, the most prominent feature in Horned Dragons are in fact the horn atop their head. For males, it is used in combat, while in females it is used to warn off predators from taking their young.

My first Horned Dragon! She's up for adoption, and needs a good home. She had an almost aura-like substance that is emitted from her paws and horn.

Personality:a sweet, caring horned dragon who sometimes finds it hard to keep secrets. she is very gentle and gets along well with other animals but she can be a little bit nosy and is a huge chatterbox
Aura reason:Artemis was a normal horned dragon until one day, when she was taking a midnight walk through a moon light forest she saw some lights dancing in the sky. she followed them until she found a huge cloud of fireflies. curious she came closer to them. the fireflies crowded around her, wondering what to do. "help us" they buzzed "our queen was separated from us and is lost, help us find her and you will be rewarded". Artemis searched and searched for the firefly queen until she found her, hiding in a cave. she brought the queen back to the fireflies and the fireflies kept their promise, they gave her the power of light and now even to this day Artemis leads lost travelers home with the beautiful glow from her swift paws.

Name: I would call this little beauty 'Shiver'
Personality:
Shiver comes across as a shy and innocent being, but really it's quite the contrary. Shiver is bold, brave and at times quite stubborn. She is defensive and loyal, and she can be quite intelligent and good at making appropriate decisions. Shiver likes enjoyable times and new adventures, Shiver is also very skilled at hiding her character and abilities. Her absolute pet hate is to be left out, mocked or teased because of her looks and gender.
Aura reason: Shiver was out exploring one day when she fell asleep, just as it began to snow. The magic whithin her kept her alive as she slowly froze. By the time she awoke a curious aura had surrounded her body, as she warmed up again most if the aura vanished, but a small part of it remains almost on guard incase a situation like that occurs again.

Personality: Cold and proud at first, especially of the unusual aura around her paws and horn. If you make enough of an effort with her, though, soon she becomes sweet, kind, and feircely protective and loyal. You don't want to mess with those she cares about.
Aura reason: She was born on a snowy night, away from the rest of the horned dragons. She almost died that night, but the Great Horned Dragon Spirit saw her potential to the tribe and blew on her, giving her the power to control snow and ice. She survived, and loves to make an aura of ice around her paws and horn to symbolize that (and also just because it looks cool. )
