HE WALKED slowly down the rugged path, the gravle grunching between his paws.The bright daisy in his mouth clashed with the foggy air about him. The dim lit path was overshrouded in lush,dark green trees.He could've driven through this, but it was too painful not to walk. The gravle and dust gave way to lush green grass, and the hundreds of tombstones,lay before him. He stepped onto the sidewalk,leading through the graveyard. The moon shone upon his fur,and upon the headstones he passed. He passed dozens before he stopped, and stared at a particular headstone. It was a lighter marble gray,then the common cloud gray of the usual headstones. It read,
HERE LIES DAISY
A truly loved mother,wife,and visionary.
1977-2004
She had been killed protecting him, her only son. His father had already been killed, and his gravestone laid next to hers. He set the daisy down, between his father's and his mother's grave. He teared up, and hung his head. He turned, and dissapeared through the foggy mist.
