Ring Tailed Pandas
What are Ring Tailed Pandas? Well, a RTP is a small house cat sized, fluffy creature. They are the result of a red panda and ring tailed lemur mutation.
Appearance
RTPs have long fluffy tailed that curl up over their backs. They hang by them in trees and use them to hold their young. They have retractable claws that help them grip onto trees. Their short furred coats have a sleek shine to it. They have lithe bodies that help them climb, jump and run from predators. They range in many colors. From light tan to dark ginger to silvers. RTP's markings can really be anything...brindle, siamese, swirls, dappled ect. Their hind legs are very strong to help them jump from tree to tree. They have sharp, small teeth that help them crunch down on bugs and small fruits. Their coat lengths change in order to help them through the seasons.
Summer- Short.

Winter- Long
Spring- Short/Medium
Their coat color doesnt change but their behaviors fixes that.
Behaviors
RTPs live in colonies of 3-10 (not counting young). They all care for the young and defend their homes together. RTP's talk to each other with clicks, whistles, barks, yaps or body signals. During mating season a female without a young, will call to a male by doing a kind of harmonious whistle. Females start mating at 10 years old and stop at 45. Young RTP are born with pure white coats and their real colors come in when they reach the age of 2 years old and are able to lie without the care of their mother. Young are born in litters of 1-2. A colony has no ranks in it. But one male usually takes authority and controls the group anyways. They usually live until they are 50 years of age. An RPT knows when it will die so it will make a loud warbling noise to its colony to tell them it wont be back so dont look and then it leaves. An RPT knows it is his/her job to keep the colony healthy so a dead RPT is never something need in a sleeping hollow. The RPT then leaves the territory and will enter the den of its predator so it may have a quick painless death.
Food and Habitat
RPT's eat berries, bugs and occasionally if they can catch one a small rodent, amphibian or bird. They sleep in groups too, they sleep in the same tree or group of trees. Usually nursing or pregnant RPT's sleep in the hollows(Holes like owls). And everyone else in dips(Where the tree splits in two and leaves a dip that makes a great nest. They fill the hollows or dips with soft green leaves and feathers they find. RPT's live in forest filled with oak and birch trees.

Dont ask for a breeding and/or custom and not pay for it. Your RPT will go up for adoption if you dont pay in 3 days after it is made. But it is preferred that you send payment before we make your custom. It is all up to the artist there.
Customs and Breedings
Your first custom will always be free. Your second one will cost at least one uncommon- a rare depending on the artist and difficulty of the RPT's markings. You may only order 1 custom at a time.
Breedings cost the same as customs but they are not free the first time. If you ask for twins it will automatically become 1 rare. If you dont ask and the artist decides to give you twins it again depends on the difficulty of the markings. You may only order 1 breeding at a time.
