You may call it his "imaginary friend", but it's more than imaginary. It's real. These creatures are spirits of dreams. They are guardians who watch over children at night, fighting nightmares and the children's fears so that they may sleep peacefully. In fact, these creatures feed off of it. If a child is scared of the dark, the Musoka will light up the night with it's dim lighted orbs and absorb in the scary darkness. These creatures are only seen by the children, and not their parents or other adults. That is why the adults may say: "Oh, she's just talking to her imaginary friend again". The Musoka will usually stay with one child until they grow up, then the creature will fade from sight from that person and will move on to another child.

They resemble dragons with a large puffy tail and orbs wrapped around it's muzzle with string. Musoka may appear to children as large as Great Danes, or as small as Beagles. Musoka have many different horns and accessories (Sometimes none at all!), but will always have orbs attached to string. The orbs hold a Musoka's power, and if it is lost, the Musoka will die. Musoka and the children they watch over are as close as peas in a pod. The Musoka will have a special bond with that child and grow close until the child turns into adult. Colors vary from creature to creature, and does not show specific gender.

I would name this sweetie Starr, simply because it's simple and it fits her design.


Starr would be a female, I mean, what boy would be called Starr?


Starr is a socially awkward Musoka, although she does enjoy having friends. She's not good at making friends, and she often doesn't talk, although she's always there to comfort you if you need her. She's sweet, caring and sometimes a little confusing. She loves to just be herself, even if others don't approve. If you really gain her trust, then she's carefree, happy and just a little bundle of fun!


Her kid is a 13 year old girl who doesn't make many friends. The girls greatest fear is that she'll never make any friends, and that she'll have to be alone forever.


It was simple, really. Starr had been messing about at the local park. It was getting dark quickly, and the stars were only just appearing in the sky. Starr had been sitting in the bushes, watching as the kids all went home, waiting for them to leave so she could play. As the last child left, she clambered out of the bushes and towards the slide, her personal all-time favorite thing in the park. Halfway across the playground, however, a girl wandered across the road and into the park. The girl looked miserable and lonely as she sat down on a swing and began to slowly push herself back and forward. Starr, wondering what she could be doing on her own this late, turned around and headed over to the girl. She introduced herself as Starr; A name given to her by many children in her lifetime; and asked her why she was alone. And then the girl began to cry, blurting out her worst fears of never making friends. Feeling sorry for her, Starr took her back home, and has been with her since.

I wanted to finish, but my mum wouldn't let me, because it was too late. Yeah time zones...
