What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Shinba means "new leaf" in Japanese, or at least according to Google Translate. Of course, it's not that reliable, but w/e.
I love New Leaf. AC: NL is by far the best Animal Crossing game to date. I've played Wild World and City Folk, both excellent games, but this newest edition just takes the cake. The new features and the mayor option and the new villagers just give Animal Crossing an overload of awesomeness, organization, and cuteness. The 3D effects are amazing and so pretty and I just love how much effort they put into New Leaf. And because this is New Leaf-based, what better name than New Leaf in Japanese?

Shinba's favorite villager is Bones the dog. Bones is a lazy, friendly, and mild villager who loves food and sleeping. The two hit it off extremely quickly because Bones, being very relaxed and laid-back, is very easy to get along with. The two are best friends, and both share an adoration of delicious food, cozy beds, dream-filled sleep, and relaxing hobbies.
Since the two are best friends, they are very alike. Shinba is just as lazy as Bones. The two spend most of their time hanging out together. They're constantly at each other's sides, and are closer than brothers. No matter what, Shinba will be at Bones's side and Bones will be at Shinba's side. They're quite the dynamic duo. Their adorable optimism and charismatic laziness makes people and other animals magnetize to them.
Shinba loves food, Bones loves food. Shinba loves sleeping, Bones loves sleeping. Shinba loves watering flowers, fishing, and catching bugs, and Bones loves doing all those things too. They have everything in common and nothing not in common (other than their species and Shinba being able to fly). Theirs is the sleepiest, hungriest, funniest, and most pleasant bromance in all of Animal Crossing.
