Because I liked the challenge this week came with and because I haven't drawn humans in... I don't know... Four-six months or something like that?
As I've said hundreds of times before today, but I'll say it once again; I don't like making lineart and my lineart is rather crappy. My human anatomy is still "blergh" and I still need to practice drawing humans so much more than what I already do if I ever want to become any good with it. This is the first time I've attempted to draw clouds that are supposed to look fine together with my oh-so-crappy lineart (however, it's not the first time in my life that I've drawn clouds though, I like making them just as much as I like making starry backgrounds, it just takes forever). No, I've no idea what those orbs of light were meant to be, they're just there because they can. Yes, I probably added a little too much warm colours to the sunlight now in the end, but whatever. I like warm colours so I'm too lazy to change it now. No, the timer does not lie, that's how slow I draw while I'm attempting to make lineart and humans (though I trutfully never intended to make lineart on this picture when I started with it... I wanted to just make a coloured sketch... but I couldn't resist working with this deeper than that).
Maeko belongs to me.
