What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Reason for choosing the name: Well I was thinking about nebulas, but that would be a weird name so Nebs for short (the picture below is a nebula)

Halley, or Hal for short

++Reason for choosing the name
This Mutato is named after Halley's comet. My passion for space first developed from a book a picked up at a garage sale that featured said comet, and has been growing ever since. The comet itself is named after the English astronomer Edmund Halley. He was the first to notice that comets are periodical, and it was named in his honor.

This mutato's name would be Meteor Shower, but most call him Comet.

Well the design looks like there is a meteor headed towards Earth, the sky, or where ever else. So when I saw that I thought of Meteor Shower. Then for the extra nickname I just thought that it sounded nice so I thought why not? So anyway that's the logic behind why out of all the names I chose Meteor Shower <3
