"Vinca (/ˈvɪŋkə/: Latin: vincire "to bind, fetter") is a genus of six species in the family Apocynaceae, native to Europe, northwest Africa and southwest Asia. The English name periwinkle is shared with the related genus Catharanthus (and also with the common seashore mollusc, Littorina littorea). In India the plant is known as sadaphuli meaning "always flowering"."

The pink-and-green combination of the Mutato reminded me of this beautiful flower, the Vinca. The tail is like the stem, and the body is a beautiful bloom of pink warmness.

"Come on, Vinca! We're leaving now!"
Vinca looked at the giant statue looming in the distance. "All right!" she hollered, jumping into the air and taking flight. "So... where are we going?" Vinca asked her friends, Wheatley and DeWitt. "Well..." Wheatley muttered, looking at DeWitt. "We're going to Columbia!" DeWitt shouted, happily, as he did a mid-air flip. "Columbia?" Vinca asked, as the two friends started heading straight up. "Wait for me!" Vinca shouted, as she caught up to them.
As the small Mutato group flew up, they weaved through the clouds. "We're here!" DeWitt shouted, landing on one of the roofs. People walked around happily, enjoying the 1902 Columbia Fair. "Wow!" Vinca shouted, darting down, soon running into two people. "Sorry..." Vinca muttered, looking up. "Who are you?" she asked, curiously.
The tall, black-haired woman reached down and picked up Vinca. "Poor thing." the woman cooed, as the man walked over to Wheatley and DeWitt. "Hmm, seems that there are more than that one." the man said, looking at the woman he was with. "Elizabeth... do you know what these are? Did you retrieve them through a tear?" the man said. "N-no, Booker, this one, and I guess her friends, just came from the sky..." Elizabeth said.
"Elizabeth?" Vinca asked, ears perking up. "Hello then, Elizabeth! I'm Vinca!" Vinca said, flying around Elizabeth's head. Elizabeth giggled a little, then pointed to Wheatley and DeWitt and asked, "Who are they?" she asked. Vinca flew over, and hovered over the fiery-colored one. "This is DeWitt..." she said, then hovering over the grey-ish-body-and-blue-and-orange-spots one. "...and this is Wheatley!" Vinca shouted, happily. Both DeWitt and Wheatley smiled.
"DeWitt? That's my last name..." Booker said, picking up DeWitt. "Really? Nice!" DeWitt said, smiling. Elizabeth looked at Booker, then to Vinca and the other 'tatos, then back to Booker. "Can we let them tag along?" Elizabeth asked. "Well, as long as they can fight well, and tolerate Vigors. Can you?" Booker asked the three. "I don't know, but we have to!" Vinca said. Both Wheatley and DeWitt nodded.
"By the way, what are you?" Elizabeth asked. Vinca perked her ears, grabbed a piece of paper, and wrote down something. She handed it to Elizabeth, and Elizabeth read aloud: "What is a Mutato? In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky. These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato. They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man. At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball. Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried. The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of. These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly. They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest". Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot." As she finished, Vinca started to pace back and forth. The other two' tatos joined in, and Booker smiled a little, which he doesn't do often.
The end!
