Dracions are a very cat-like species of Dragon. In the Juvenile-Adult years the scales under their soft, protective fur show through clearly on the legs. Baby Dracions cannot fly, Juveniles can somewhat fly. Only fully-grown Dracions can fly properly. All Dracions grow a bone mask to protect their faces while flying, in case of crash-landings or debris, and also for sparring with each other. Dracions are fairly sociable creatures and live in packs.
Stage 1. The Baby: All Dracions look pretty much the same (feature-wise) at this stage. They are small, semi-fluffy, and have basically no protection.
Stage 2. The Juvenile: Juvenile Female Dracions are tall, slender, and now have their bone mask. Still fairly awkward-looking and uncoordinated. The Juvenile Male Dracions look similar to the females, except they have small horns.
Stage 3. The Adult: The Adult Female Dracion is much more slender and much less protected than the male Dracions, which have manes and sharp horns, as well as extra spikes on their bone mask.
