Here's one of my entries :3
While doing this I had ideas for a few other species as well, so if I'm allowed to bring my laptop to my fathers[I leave tomorrow] and if you don't mind, I'm going to draw up a few more entries~

egg; Egg lines[includes the nest like thing underneath], color(lockalpha), Shading, Shine for the egg,

nest; Lines are with the egg, coloring(lockalpha), shading.

kid; kid lines, neck/tail shading, shading, color(lockalpha), eye color(lockalpha),

adult; adult lines, neck/tail lighting, neck/tail shading, lighting, shading, eye color(lockalpha), color(lockalpha)

others; Signature, cover with writing on a separate layer, W.I.P layer[for artists that are not completely finished their design]

About the Species;
name; Aral
habitat; The Aral can be seen just about anywhere, thought they tend to prefer colder climates because of the long fur that cover their bodies.
size/weight; The Egg of an Aral normally stands at about a 1'5" and tend to weight about 3lbs. They can be larger than this but this only happens once in a while and is quite rare in the species.
The Kid's stand at just over 3', growing quite quickly by the time they have hatched to the time they reach the stage they are classified as a kid. They weight about 6lbs.
By the time an Aral reaches adulthood, it stands anywhere from 4'-6' and weights anywhere from 8lbs-13lbs. There are many factors in the weight and height of a full adult, such as their environment and the food that is around for them to eat.
diet; Their diets consist on many things. Their main food source tends to be berries and things of the such. While some berries found in the wild can be poisonous to other species, the Aral have no problem digesting these berries thanks to a special organ in their bodies that filter out the bad things about the berry that would poison any other living being.
In dire needs, an Aral will resort to eating meat. The meat will either come from an already dead carcass or they are capable of hunting fresh food for themselves, having long, sharp retractable claws and sharp, jagged teeth.
pelt/coloration; An Aral is covered in long fur that keeps them warm in the coldest of places. The mane that travels from the top of their head and down their back stops just at the base of their spine as a kit. As they grow, the mane will grow with them and fall down past their rear ends.
The color of their fur varies. Most often they are seen with natural colored pelts but on a few occasions have been seen with an odd color in their fur, such as brighter colors and what have you. This is an uncommon occurrence as their fur is often a way to blend into their surroundings. The markings on an Aral's pet are endless.


For the time being, the information is done. I will write up a much better version for if these guys are chosen as your species[will anyway because I may make them a species myself if they don't win] I am going to add a few more things when I get the time though.
