As he said, his name is Hades. He was given the name by his father, Zeus. His mother wanted to name him something less...serious, like Storm, or Thunder. But his father was sure that Hades was just the name for him...boy was he right!

Hades stands at 14.3hh, being just about the size of his mother. This embarrassed him for a bit, as stallions were meant to be taller than mares, but his father told him that the size of you didn't matter, it's the size of your heart that does. Hm...was his heart really that big?"

Hades's name comes from the god of the underworld, as well as the god of death. Hades doesn't kill, or live in holes in the ground, but the name still fits him quite well! When he was a colt, he was rather skittish and smaller than the other foals, but as he grew his brave side appeared. He started standing up for himself and even wandering off before the other foals had the guts to. He became one of the bravest foals in the herd: chasing foxes, jumping over logs, entering dark caves. Still, the other foals did not really enjoy his company, and constantly bullied him. Now than he is older he decided to live on his own, hiding away from others, still being the brave one. And despite his smaller size, he grew rather muscular and strong. Gained a look of majestic charm. Now now is more cocky, and quite the "bad boy" which is also his nickname.

Well, firstly his looks. Dapple greys are my favourite coloring on a horse, but I could never figure out how to color them properly, I mean, I can sort of, but not like this. And his markings are awesome too! I love interrupted stripes, which he has, because each one is unique and different. And finally, the burst of emotion he gave me, by just looking at him, I could imagine his history, his personality, everything.
