I've always wanted a pitbull, and my parents are always like, "No way!" I never understood. They don't seem to understand pitbulls. They're such great dogs if you socialize them (like every other dog). It's just... wow. People these days. I mean, it's just like not letting your kid pet a lab. -.- So many people think pitbulls are bad. Why? Because stupid people put them in arenas to fight to the death. Is that what the dogs want? No. They want love and compassion.

Sometimes we're going for a walk, people keep staring at me, like ''Oh look, this girl is taking a walk with Osama bin Laden. Lets keep the distance!''
When we meet children who want to pet Shorty, the parents always pull them back and ask me silly questions and tells the kid's my dog is a bad dog and is going to hurt others.
When we meet other dog's [which are usually larger than Shorty] they're not allowed to play with him. Because he's a bad dog.

I own a staffie, and I feel like I get the exact same problem (And she does the same as your dog with the sitting on the stomach thing x3 She always tries to give me a bath by licking my arms or ankles or something. Gross, but adorable, and also very OMG I LOVE YOU <3). My friends all love her, but I feel like because of this "bad rep" on the "bull terriers" (or dogs know for being used for fighting e.g German Shepy (<3) ) is stopping my dog from getting the full joy in life she should be getting.

I think pit bulls are dangerous but so lovely dogs, I have always wanted one, but they can be viscous, if brought up right the best dog in the hold word! I also love German shephers, Rottweilers and Dobermins! Lovely breeds! your picture is just great, lovely idea of yr dog and yourself bonding!, great picture! ps this is not ment to be a mean statement, please don't think it is, ok, everything is coooooool, ye!
