Sand Surfers are small, furry creatures that stand about a twenty inches tall, fifteen inches long, and weigh an average of seven pounds for both genders. These animals are native to the deserts of Egypt, India, and Africa. The Sand Surfer's coat is thin and soft, making for easy travel across the sand. You may have noticed the large tail at the ends of their bodies. Sand Surfer's use their muscled tail to "surf" across sand in the desert. These creatures live mainly underground in complex tunnels that are about five feet below the surface to keep cool. Sand Surfers are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and plant material. A common food of the species are small rodents, small birds, small reptiles, berries, grasses, and nuts. They also eat eggs of other animals when they can get their hands on them.

Green, and more green. Felt like straying from the natural colors this time. Given the base, this SS would be common, but since it's rocking out some bright green, it is an uncommon. I fell in love with this one a bit, so a longer contest will be held.

Story: Grassy Night got up from his resting place and yawned. He looked around for something to eat. He smiled as he saw a hare nearby. He smiled and quickly grabbed and killed it. After he ate he set off again on his epically boring journey to find the fabled place he had heard of from a random Sand surfer he met. He sighed as he imagined what it was like. Plenty of hares, and grass, and cactuses and stuff to eat, and water for the Sand Surfers who still had gills. He traveled on, bored as heck on his boring journey.
