"Hey! Who are you? Oh well, im Daina! And this is my story:"
The light of the full moon fell uneven against my brown fur, filtered through the dark green leaves of the Birch trees that surrounded me. I kept my eyes on the path ahead, as my paws seperated the long, green grass. A small, young Minun bounded through the grass, leaving small pawprints through the forest.
I soon came to a small river, rocks scattered across it, though way too far away for me to cross. I turned to a birch tree, and stuck my tail into the ground. The tree uprooted itself, laying down calmly across the river that separated me and the berries I wanted. I pulled my tail from the ground, hopping up onto the tree, and ran across it quickly. At the other side of the river, I stuck my tail into the ground again, and closed my eyes as I sent electricity and vegetation throughout the ground, urging the tree to stand back up. I felt every leaf as it moved through the air, every root as it tunneled into the ground. When it was fully standing, I brought my powers back to me and moved on.
The combination of electricity and grass gave me the power to give life to plants for a short amount of time, and I used it in the best way possible. I could feel the forest around me for yards. Every petal, every stem, every leaf.
This aspect of myself came to prove harmful on a very important night. This night.
I heard the screams before I felt the pain. Pokemon came running from trees, underground burrows, dens and all over. Their screams were muffled by those of the trees. The searing pain brought me to my knees, the bright red and orange burning the insides of my eyes as my own cry of horror and pain escaped my lips. A pidgey, burnt and blackened, dropped from the sky, almost unconscious, right next to me. I stood up, pushing the screams from my ears. I knew I could do nothing for them. But I could help this guy.
I got up from my crouch, the almost fatherless bird in my hands. I ran as fast as I could with the added weight until I reached the nearby clearing, where a human was packing up her picnic in a hurry, having seen the fire. She gasped when she saw me, and when she saw the blackened bird, she rummaged in her bag, pulling out two red and white spheres.
Pokeballs.
I put ther bird down carefully, then ran quickly into the forrest on the other side of the clearing. I was NOT ready to be caught. Even if my life was in danger. But the pidgey needed help. He would get it, I knew, and he would survive.
I watched the trainer and the Eevee at her side run to check out the pidgey, and trapped it inside a pokeball. When the trainer turned, I expected her to trap the Eevee, too. But she ran alongside it, leaving all but her bag in the clearing!
I was surprised. I didn't think trainers really cared about any pigeon but their own, and even then, only in battle. I followed these two, leaping between trees when needed, until they reached the town. I still followed them, though reluctantly.
When they reached the healing center (or at least thats what iassumed it was) , I stood on top of the large building, waiting.
It wasn't all too long before they came out, and neither were in their balls! The Pidgey flew around, and the Eevee scampered on the ground beside her as they walked through the streets. She was talking to them, though I couldn't tell what they were saying.
What was with this trainer? All the ones I had seen or heard of all just used their pokemon for battle! They didn't talk to them like companions, as it seemed this one did.
all of a sudden, a pain shot through me from my tail and back legs. A small cry escaped me, and I looked over the edge. They looked up, and I knew they saw me. But my legs... They wouldn't move! I needed help now, too...
"Pika." (Ball) I said, maybe, if I HAD to be caught... Like if I would possibly die if I wasn't caught and healed, I guessed it wouldn't be so bad to have a trainer that wouldn't have me in my ball the whole time. I wouldn't be a battle beast again.
I looked at my hind legs, and gasped when I saw that myfur must have been aflame. The burns reached my skin, and they caused a searing pain in the entire bottom half of my body. Soon, I stumbled, falling over the edge, as a red light consumed me.
The next thing I knew, it was bright out. The pain was gone, and I layed on the warm sidewalk.
"Hello, little pokemon. My name's Jaci. Whats yours, sweety?" A human asked, standing in front of me. I stood up quickly, ready to run, before last night hit me. I remembered that this human helped me. She was my trainer, now. The pidgey and Eevee from before looked at me curiously.
"Pika." (Daina.)
The trainer smiled at me. "Welcome to the family, Daina."

¤ Why should she join you? ¤
I think Daina should join me because i love all my pokémon. Creep, Pudgey, Turtle, Felix, Eva, Takoda, and hopefully Daina alike. I'm still learning about pokemon, and I finally won a pokebattle, so I think I have the hang of it. She would be my first pokemon that doesn't exist
and the first one I really tried for... I hope I get her! I would absolutely love to add her to my family!
