Like the winds he was named for Gale tends to be very volatile stallion. It's not that he's violent; he just has a quick temper and anything could set him off. When he has one of his fits it can be anywhere from stomping around and giving you the silent treatment to kicking and screaming. Gale has never been the one to enjoy the company of others. This may have to do with some childhood event where all the other colts and fillies were afraid to be around him after an outburst. He tries to avoid being around others of his species as much as possible.

Running is his favorite thing to do when he is upset of confused. It doesn't matter where he is; if he's running everything becomes clear. He finds it much easier to see the error if there was any. This being his favorite thing of all he is quite competitive about it. If he happens to be challenged to a race (which does happen on the rare occasion) he will always accept.When he isn't being challenged he is racing himself.

Oddly enough being named after the winds that join storms, Gale has never been fond of thunder. 'Not being fond of' is an understatement. If thunder were a blade of grass he'd stamp it into oblivion. The racket annoys him and the rain interrupts his runs.

Gale isn't sure if he'll ever meet a mare that can tolerate his many mood swings and temper, but if he ever does he will never let her leave. He'll treat her like a princess tending to her every need and want no matter what it is. He'll try his best to control his temper around her for fear he'll scare her away.

The thing Gale fears most is himself. Well more his temper. He often calls his temper 'his demon' and can be seen talking to it. He tries hard to banish it from his body and soul. He wants nothing more than to get it under control before it ruins the remainder of his life.

When you first meet the stallion you may comment on how collected and calm he is. Or you may see through that and pick up on his nervous jitters and ticks. When he's nervous his ears swivel around on the top of his head in a semi circle motion. He tries to hide his lashing temper from everyone, but something like that can't be hidden forever.
