Guardians of Ch'teil
Far away in the clouds of Ch'teil lives a very special breed of equine; the Helagle. The Helagles are special beacause they are used to protect the kingdom of Ch'teil. They roam the lands during the day in different ranked herds watching the land that they all call home.
The Guardians of Ch'teil live in herds with ranks just like any normal horse herd. There are the leaders. This group consists of 1-4 stallions(or very rarely a mare). They are the strongest of the herd and have the best traits. Then there are the Herders. Those are the horses within the herd that don't have any general rank. Then there are the foals. The yearlings from two and under make up this group. There are the healers and the sorcerers. They are both in the same general rank they just have different jobs. Each herd is comprised of at least two healers and one sorcerer. There are also apprentices but they are considered Herders until they reach their goal of whichever rank.
The breed Helagle is a generally friendly breed. They are usually distant but do enjoy company of their small furry companions that live in the woods. Helagles are a relaxed breed that are usually very mellow but on occasion you will get a spry young one. Helagles are courageous and outgoing. They are extremely brave and love new challenges.
A young Helagle foal can't fly until the age of two. Anually there is an event in the clouds above Ch'teil called "The Releasing" and that is when all the Helagles that have come to age for flying are "released". Meaning they launch off the clouds for the first time and fly all the way to the Vexon Mountains where the smiths will begin making their adult armor. Mares and stallions each are old enough to have foals by the age of three. When a Helagle turns three it also gets it's rank and armor. The Leaders discuss together and they place all the three year olds in their designated ranks.

Charcteristics
The Helagle is basically (to a human's eyes) a Leopard+Eagle+Horse. It has the build of a Thoroughbred horse. It's back legs are feathered. It has medium wings that are extremely powerful. Helagles also have the long thick fluffy tail of a leopard. They have a fairly long horse mane. Their height ranges from anywhere to 15.3 hh to 18 hh. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns. Most common are leopard spots and one color horse coats such as normal bays; sorrel; palomino;etc. The more uncommon colorations would be paints, appaloosas, albinos, or brindles and clouded leopard colorations. The rarest would be any horse pattern with leopard spots on top. All horse and leopard colorations are in the breed though. Unnatrual colors are not apart of the Helagles' gene pool and never will be. They are a natural coated breed.

Armory
One day a very long time ago, the king of Ch'teil ordered the greatest Helagle sorcerer to come before him. The Helagle chosen was Vexton. He was the most amazing sorcerer in the whole land. The king wanted Vexton to give his pet Helagle the power to be immune to fire. After Vexton's work was done the now fire retardant Helagle had many foals. Many of his children had his same power and even fewer of his grand foals had it. The power has been nearly bred out but few still live. Those Helagles are the smiths the live in Mt. Vexon named for the great sorcerer. The smiths are the ones who create each Helagles armor specifically their size and rank.
Helagles are rarely ever seen without armor. They don't sleep with their armor on but they sleep in the clouds. A Helagle's armor differs from his or her rank in the herd.Though the Helagle's armor may or may not be the same material or color; each Helagle's armor is different in design
Leaders all have strong gold armor with purple jewels embedded in different chinks of the armor. Healers where iron armor with soft blue crystals only on the chest pieces. The sorcerers where simple titanium armor with crimson colored jewels on the helmet only. Foals over the age of one and under the age of two have training armor(usually passed down from older Helagles in the herd) which is steel and has small green orbs on it randomly placed. Last but certainly not least the herders; the rest of the Helagles. They each have iron armor with red crystals on strategically placed for their birthday and name.

FOR BREEDINGS
~Both users must agree to breed their Helagles
~There are no mates currently. This may become a roleplay depending on how popular it is so think about that
~The foal will take anywhere from three days to two weeks to grow up
~Don't rush the artist on making your foal or your foal's growth

FOR CUSTOMS
~If it says closed don't ask!
