Pet's name: Vashi Duskdream
Hello again Journal!
Just yesterday the Mayor's sleep over unlocked Dream Land,Interesting place,well after I took a look around I ended up back in Sleepywood. Several slumber parties had started,so I wandered around.After passing a narrow alley I heard a small whimper.I took a few steps back and inspected the alley.I started walking down the alley,and I nearly gave up,when I heard another little whine coming from inside a trash can.I cautiously lifted the lid,Noticing a few small crimson splatters.The little creature cowered,pressing its self deeper onto the bottom of the trash can.There were several bleeding scratches,and two large claw marks that would most certainly become scars.The poor thing was holding an old worn-out teddy bear in it's beak-like jaws,he was wearing Ducky pajamas,a purple 5 party hat that was a bit too large for his tiny head,and he was holding a light blue pillow.The creature was probably only somewhere between six and twelve inches.He had rips in his Pajamas where his spines jutted out.I smiled softly at the creature,and tried to coax it out using the softest voice I could.After a few tries, it took a peek out,and I instantly realized that the little nightmare was not normal,It still had four eyes,but He had eye whites, unlike the others I'd seen.After he became comfortable with me I picked him up and took him back to my house,where I fixed him up. I've decided to call him Vashta,or Vashi,short for Vashta Nerada,the living shadows in Doctor Who.Anyway,after I was done,he started to talk to me happily,Saying, 'This is kinda almost a sleep over!Thanks miss!' The way his four little red eyes lit up was adorable. You see,after talking to him,he told me about himself.Little Vashi here is a five year old nightmare,but his grandmother was a dream,so he and his deceased mother where different from the other nightmares.He just loves slumber parties,that's odd don't you think? He finds the idea of staying up all night playing games and eating sweets fascinating.The problem though,is that he doesn't have any friend to invite to a slumber party. His kind rejects him for his sweet and friendly nature,and every time he approaches a pet or dream,they run away screaming. When he heard about the mayor's party,he was excited,and he hurried down to Sleepywood,but every time he tried to join in,everyone would run away.About an hour before I found him,he had accidentally scared a lion cub he had tried to befriend.The parents though he had hurt it,so they attacked him,just as a warning though,the injuries were nowhere near fatal,although the fathers scratches went deep.I started wondering how anyone could have feared Vashi,he's just adorable. Vashi's decided to stay with me,and become my companion.Every time someone runs away from him,or won't let him join in,he'll throw this little childish fit,it makes me feel bad for him. This morning when he awoke he looked up at the sky and said he missed the stars.I asked Vashi about the star on his tail,and he told me his mommy gave it to him when he was born.The little boy has had some traumatizing encounters though,It's not surprising that there are certain breeds and species of pets he'll cower away from.I put him back to sleep,but I think he's waking up now.I'd better make him his toast and his favorite Cocoa Cloud cereal.

This would be Vashi,He's a little character I thought up last night.I just love the version of nightmare he is.I did change a few things though,and made a bit more design. ♥♥
Anyway,I'm pretty sure I was the first to have this idea,terribly sorry if not though ;w;
This is a kinda sketchy picture,But I'll be making more for him. His birthday is soon..
