What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Well, I wanted a name that would suit both panels of a design.
Spectrum usually refers to different of colors put together,
which resembles the lower part of it.
And then Specter refers to a disturbing or dark image,
which reminds me of the monochrome part of it.

Mutato's Name-Romiana (Row-Me-Ana)

Why this name?-I found that the name Romiana was a very creative name. Even though it had noting to do with color, I thought it was suiting for this little Mutato.

This little mutato's name is Onmyō [陰陽]
[For the Curious~]
Onmyō is Japanese for Yin and Yang, Sun and Moon, cosmic forces, you know c;
I chose this as her body is colourful, while her gas is monochrome, similar to
opposite forces like Yin and Yang.

She needs to find a bigger tub though, or else she won't be able to pace!

++Reason for choosing the name: The pastel colors and black make a nice color spectrum. Then I made it feminine by adding the A, and taking away the u and m. It also goes well because the word Spectra is ghostlike, and this little one doesn't have any bold colors besides black, so she's kinda like a ghost.

I always loved this name, since it means 'Shimmer' in Spanish.
For some reason I think it fits her, since her colors make her shine.
Plus she looks like she would have a shimmering personality.
