After attending a multitude of rodeos this summer, I felt inspired to do this delightful picture. ^^ I hope that the cowboy way of life never dies. It is a way of life that has been in my family for generations, and still stands strong. I can proudly say I go on a cattle drive twice a year with family and friends, and my favorite place to be is in the saddle of a horse. I've always wanted to barrel race, but I have never had the opportunity to give it a try. Perhaps sometime in the near future I will give it a shot!

My first time doing a silhouette picture, and I'm quite happy with it.

No, I won't be going to that one. That one is a long drive for me. I go to rodeos close to home. My dream is to go to the rodeo finals in Vegas though.

But i mean it reminds me of Dean Winchester the one episode where they try to get Phoenix ashes...

It's so true...the legacy of the cowboy will hopefully always live on! I hope and pray I get a chance to barrel race one day. I'm going to have to work on fulfilling that dream.
