What Is a Peanut Orb Dragon?


A Peanut Orb Dragon (POD) is a fluffy, deer sized, dragon-like creature. They are very gentle and love to spend time with humans.
There is a significant difference between the males and the females: Males' paws and tail base are surrounded by floating orbs, held close to the body by a magical force. But, unlike the males, female PODs have feathers at their 'elbows' and tail base. They will occasionally have more, or less feathers or orbs. But never none.Most female peanut orb dragons usually have freckles. They might occasionally have none, but it is rare, they usually have freckles or some spots on their face.
Peanut Orb Dragons can be shy at first, but once you get to know them, they are really caring and loveable creatures.

Here's the fourth and final elemental. Nature!

So just to let you know where ever she walks a path of fresh grass follows her. But as she get's farther away from the grass it withers and dies turning into dust.

Oh my! What is this mysterious symbol on her wing? Could it be an ancient symbol meaning something?
To win her write a short story about the symbol. *I have my own ideas on the symbol but I would like to see what you all can come up with* I'm not asking for a really long story, it could be 10 words long for all I care, all I want is some creativity.

This POD, if I won her, would be named Genesis. Or just Gen.

Genesis means beginnings. I thought this was right for her because earth - nature - is the basis of life. It is life, the beginning, the past and future.

"I wish I could do something special." The young dragon was hardly aware she had spoken. Her eyes were narrowed, and full of emotion, half sorrow and half anger. Everyone she knew could do something special, but she was just plain, boring Genesis. She could hardly even fly. Why me? Why do I have to be so . . . so . . . oh, I don't even know. Thoughts of this type echoed in her head as she padded along the forest path, her bobtail flicking, dry autumn leaves crunching beneath her paws. It was in this distant state of mind that she kicked something that had been hidden under the leaves. It rolled against a rock, breaking. Slightly curious, Genesis Bounded over to it. It appeared to be a pale green orb, not quite like those on a male POD, but similar. She crouched down, watching in awe as it repaired itself. "what on earth . . ." Suddenly she reared back, howling in pain, as a pale mist - or rather, steam, almost - suddenly flew out of the orb-thing, burning - or would scalding be the correct word? - her wing. Genesis looked over at it, expecting a burn or something. But instead, there was a weird mark. The pain was fading quickly, and she heard a voice, carried on the wind. What wind? No, the voice was the wind. Anyway, the voice seemed to whisper in her ear, "Try it out . . ." Genesis had no idea what was going on, or what the voice meant, but she decided she had had enough time alone in the woods. Loping along the forest trail, she suddenly realized she wasn't crunching over dry leaves and twigs anymore. Her paws were coming down on a cool carpet of grass. It wasn't there before, and it dried up as she left it behind. "I'm special!" Genesis yelled to the sky. Coming out from the trees, she saw her two sisters. They looked like they were about to fly. "Hey! Can I join you?" Genesis bounded across the lawn. They looked at her skeptically. "I guess," said the eldest. "We start . . . here." She drew a line in the dirt. The three dragons bounded forward. It was clear that the sisters didn't expect Genesis to get more than a few feet off the ground. Genesis was willing to try, though. She leaped gracefully into the air, beating her wings powerfully. Laughing her head off, she zigzagged up, as far as she could go, and watched the world - even her sisters - shrink below her. "I'm special! I'm flying!"

Well, I don't really have a favorite color as far as adoptables go. I like natural-looking things with a twist, though.

Long ago the earth was still. No living thing thrived and everything was dust and ash, grey, no colour. One day a single drop of pure stardust, not liquid, solid nor gas, fell from the heavens. As it landed it sent a shockwave that blew away all the dust, leaving the earth with clear stone. Apart from a patern etched into the hard rock. The stardust vanished into the earth, dissolving, melting into the rock. The symbol glowed with bright light and the rock turned green. Grass grew out of the impossibly solid rock. In the shape of a Peanut Orb Dragon the rock bulged and Gaia was born. She filled the earth with all the greenery and creating life with the help of her siblings, the other elements.

Her markings symbolize the Earth & Gravity. I see rocks falling off a ledge and the mountains and plains of the Earth. It could also represent seeds falling from a flower, since she grows flowers & greenery when she walks in a barren place.

My favorite color is turquoise and I love swirl designs.
