His cheeks are ripped, his jaws opened in a permanent smile. The smile goes almost to his ears. One of the strips of still-attached skin is snapped, leaving a piece of skin hanging down from his top jaw. His tongue is just a stub, being cut out when he was younger. He is a very cheerful character and is often seen with an excited expression. Since he has little/no tongue, you can see the bottom of his mouth. You can also see some of the still-attached skin on the other side of his mouth.
