- This morning when I went to feed my chickens I found one of my hens, Big Red, had died in the nest box.
I was kind of fearing that it would happen seeing as it is winter and getting cold and she's old. But I wasn't expecting it so soon and I was hoping we'd be able to bring her inside before it got too cold.
But I was too late :c
Big Red was my favorite hen and I loved her like I love my two cats.
So
Rest in Peace, Big Red.
I will miss you.
