Personality: Techna is an antisocial creature. She is a little rude at times. Stern and stubborn. Techna occasionally helps out though.
Why do his/her markings glow? And do they mean anything? If so, what? (100-500 words): Techna's markings glow from electricity. As an electrically charged creature she needs power to keep her glowing. She charges by pressing her nose to any electrical socket of some sort. It sucks some of the energy out and feeds it to her. Its like eating.
A list of her power reactions.
Fully charged-- glows very brightly
Half charged-- a little duller, but still bright
Barely any charge-- starts flashing
No charge-- all power goes out. Its kinda like dying. If not charged up in 30 min she cannot come back.
Sleeping-- glowing pulses soothingly
Anger-- the markings pulse harshly
Anything else: I love this little girl and she will become one of my charries ^^

Anything else: When Mary-belle is happy her electricity shines bright. When she is sad it dims. When she is angry it flickers fast or slow depending on how angry she is. When she sleeps it blinks and a slow, lullaby pace. When she is dead (which hopefully never happens) no electricity will show.

she is composed and calm. Her head is always held high when she walks. she is good at collecting herself and not showing intense emotion towards anything. She is also very proud and brave. She is surefooted and voices her opinions easily. This does not however, make her hard to agree with. She is good at finding solutions that work for the majority of those involved.

Blue symbolizes purity, truth, and peace. She gained her markings as a part of a coming of age ceremony. According to the tradition, the markings will appear according to the personality. On the night of a full moon, all apprentices will dive into the water, and upon coming to the surface, are glowing all over. the glow will fade away throughout the night unless you preserve it. The elders paint with clay over the glow in the symbolic shapes which represent different things. Månen received many jagged shapes to represent Clear focus, pointed ends that represent sharp senses, bands that represent well roundedness, and dots that represent wholehearted caring. after the glow fades, the apprentices jump into the water again. The clay comes off, exposing the glowing marks. These marks will never fade.

well i just said she loves to fly planes, but she is always afriad that bugs will go in her eyes, there for she wears goggles.
she wasn't always afaraid, but after a giant tarantula got in her plane well.....this is the story she told me:
the day started out like anyother. well anyother when you are on the run from a fiecrce tribe of amazonian warriors who don't want you out of there alive.

honestly, if i hadn't got back to the plane, i would have been a chew toy!!!
to be perfectly franks, i hate dogs, most of the time, even though i am desended from there, i do hope there aren't too many in my family. i can't ask because i'm orphaned.
so anyway, i climed into my plane, pulled out my emergeny hot air ballong, and floated away. unfortunatley i had a stoway, a big one. a huge hairy tarantula!

obviously i freaked out, and jumped of the ballon, into the sea. luckily, i can swim, so i managed to get to shore, but i always wear magnify googles now, just in case.....

Personality:
TJ is a typical pilot with his head in the clouds, literally. Always counted with the dreamers, he's big on the phrase, "Dream big, or go home." He thinks he's a ladies man, always attempting to flirt with just about anyone of the opposite gender, but usually fails miserably. With each attempt comes a cheeky smile from a seemingly endess boon of confidence and cockiness.
Why does he/she wear goggles(100-500 words):
When Todd turned the young age of 4, his father took him to see his first airshow. The young pup's eyes widened with awe as the jets screamed overhead with a near-sonic-boom. An image of each different plane was engraved in TJ's mind forever, starting his obsession with the mechanics of flight.
As the pup grew, he tinkered with building model airplanes, improving them, and delving deeper into his obsession. By the time he was 16, Todd earned his pilot's liscense with the help of his air force father.
The day he earned his liscense, his father handed him a small, plainly wrapped gift. Inside was the pair of goggles and a note. 'With this momentous occasion, may your heart soar forevermore, with only your wits to guide you.'
To this day, there has never been a flight where Todd hasn't carried his goggles as a symbol of good luck.

I apologize for this brief form. I'm currently on vacation, and have no computer. So, this was all hand typed and coded on a phone, after a 9 hour fishing trip. Again, I apologize for the overall viewpoint of this form, I don't know how long the internet will hold. Good luck to everyone!
