Well I needed to draw a reference to Verto's sword, which, actually was his fathers who is now deceased. The blades size in comparison to the faded image is actual size comparison. His daddy was a strong man, who could wield this particular blade with one hand no trouble. Verto, if he was human, would have to wield it with both hands. And even then it would throw him about from its weight.

The proper name for the type of blade actually is a zhanmadao. Valeris, Verto's dad used it as a weapon to kill vampires at a distance. Though he only used it if he had to, since the weapon itself is large and hard to swing properly.
