Duratokin (Do-rah-tow-keen) are solitary, short tempered creatures. They come together in large gatherings each month to mate and/or give birth. Very few Duratokin will form family packs, and will enver accept outsiders into a pack under any circumstance. There will never exist a tribe of unrealted Duratokin. They are noctournal beasts and ar never awake durring the day.
Growing up, young Duratokin are called pups. Pups are raised by both parents for the first year of their life then the father leaves. Mothers will stay and raise pups until they are five years old when the pups will have the option of leaving to begin their own life or staying to for a family group. In rare cases the mother will abanddon their pups at two years of age when they are fully mature. Pups are born partially deaf and fully blind; they will not have sight until they are a year old.
A fully grown Duratokin will have four arms and two legs, and four ears. Cubs are born with one fully developed ear set. this species is capable of standing on two legs and this is used as an intimidation tactic. Males have shorter snouts, and ar larger in size to females as well as longer claws. Duratokin have poor vision, but exceptional hearing.

~ Fill out the form or you will not get a Duratokin
~ Do not ask to be a Mod or Artist unless I announce that positions are open
~ Do not post "Marking" unless you intend to adopt ("Bump" is ok)
~ Artists have a life, please do not bug them about your art. After one week, you may send a friendly reminder
~ Tipping is not necessary, but is appreciated
~ If you can no longer care for your Duratokin, post here and they will be put up for adoption again
~ Add the banner if you are going to include the Duratokin in your signature
~ Ask before taking off CS
~ Right now customs are unlimited and so are adoptions, but I reserve the right to change this at any point
