Sadly, this contest has come to an end. And let me say, this was not easy for me to judge. Not only did I look at your entries, and the designs, I also looked at each of your galleries, paying close attention to your entries, created pets, and colored in posts. I used these to help me decide as well. Everyone's entries had something that stood out, and said, "Hey, look here! Look at me!", but only four of these entries really grabbed me.

I am look ing for four permanent artists and possibly two guest artists.
About the Species:
Sand Surfers are small, furry creatures that stand about a twenty inches tall, fifteen inches long, and weigh an average of seven pounds for both genders. This species was recently discovered in the deserts of Egypt. Word of this type of animal was not released to the public until a few years later, during that time; scientists did research in old Egyptian books for any trace of these animals. To their delight, much information was found. Sand Surfers were used as entertainment for the wealthy, as well as herding sheep for the poor. To this date, scientists have not domesticated the species. Sand Surfers can only be found in the wild.
Sand Surfers don't come in a wide range of common colours. Sand Surfers come in natural colors for their base colour. Different shades of browns are the most common colour. Colours in the greyscale (minus white and extremely light greys) are uncommon, while dark reds and yellow-oranges are rare. The rarest colour is white/albino. Eye colour can range from brown to blue. The most common eye colour is brown, while blues and greens are uncommon. The most unseen eye colour is basically any colour in the greyscale (minus white, extremely light greys, black, and extremely dark greys). Pupils are always a much darker shade of the base eye colour. The eye whites are always a light shade of grey, peach, or yellow. Almost all Sand Surfers have markings. They can range of tribal prints, to even the most outrages of patterns, markings on Sand Surfers are virtually endless. Any kind of marking can appear, no marking is more rare than another, only the colours create the rearness of the SS. Most markings are of a natural color, but they can be of unnatural colour. The colour of their skin only has one limitation; it has to be a natural colour.
