What is a Zephi?
Zephinas, or Zephis for short, are large feline-like creatures that roam large wooded areas and the tundra. They come in mostly un-natural colors and always have swirl-like patterns on the back legs and flank. Once or twice a month though, a rarer Zephi is found. This Zephi is natural with un-natural colored swirls. Zephinas can grow to the size of a large tiger, but more times than often, they never get larger than a mountain lion.
There is a distinct difference in the males and females of this species.
The males have antlers, which are similar to those of a white-tailed deer. They also have two "wisps" coming from the base of the tail. They are sleeker than the females. This is due to the fact they spend most of their time hunting and fighter off rivals; they can't have a tons of fluff getting in their way.
The females are much fluffier, due to the lack of involvement in hunting and fighting. Female Zephis are pretty much "stay-at-home moms". They love children, and sometimes, if they find a little one alone, they will adopt them. Females also have six "wisps" attached to their tails. These are used in attracting a male.
