Nice picture, but if you want to get into intermediate it takes time. Like, try to make things more realistic. Add patterns. If you look at the intermediate drawings, you can see that they have detail. Try adding shadows in the water, under the snake, and at the bottom of the pool/river. You can try to define where the light point is, and picture where the character's shadows will be, AKA under the head, eyes, or maybe along the belly or back.
