Dapplestar has a secret past, and a longing for a future. She and her friend Lilypool founded a Clan, Pineclan. But Starclan chose her to be Leader. She is not ready for this challenge. And another thing, her friend ended up liking the Tom she likes at about the Same time, but she won't share it. If she told anyone, Lilypool'd end up knowing, and it ruin everyone. Dapplestar wants to see her friend be happy more than herself so she is allowing Lilypool to take him. But she isn't very thrilled.
