Finally doneeeeeee <333 Since I finished my last lab report and handed it in, I figured I could treat myself and finish off this picture!
It's been sitting unfinished for quite a while now ಠ_ಠ

Anyway, it's my two Equus Avi's, Guy (the black one) and Damascus! (The paint)
I really wanted to draw these two, but I also really wanted to push myself- I wanted to draw something fun, and a bog standard standing pose just wouldn't cut.
SO, I figured...why not draw them flying?
More to the point, why not draw them displaying their aerial mastery? Damascus would certainly be one to go barrel rolling through the clouds.
Mostly, I just really, really wanted to capture the whole 3-dimensional aspect of flying. Not sure how well that was captured- they're supposed to be bombing their way down a valley in the clouds, but I'm still shaky with my perspective ono (Just another excuse to draw more and practice, I suppose!)

Critiques are super appreciated, especially with regards to perspective and all that! (I know bird wings probably can't bend like that, lets just say it's magic)

Does anyone have any crits for this piece? I'd love to learn from some input uwu

For input/critique; the only things I can see is perhaps on the brown/big one the elbow should be seen past the hoof because the upper part of the leg is longer then the lower part, and the black/smaller one seems to have a very long body, so you could shorten the length there, or enlarge its front portion (head, neck, legs, ya know).

This is still very very good, far better than my attempt would be, and I love the angle/perspective of it all. <3

Thank you so much for the help SplashofOrangeJuice! They were super helpful, I hadn't actually noticed the length in the small one! Looking at it though it's very obvious xD I shall keep your tips in mind for next time!
