THE ROCK KIND!

Species Name: Scientific Name - Petra Subnixum: Latin for rock backed, more commonly known as the rock kind,
Habitat: Everywhere! Where there are rocks there are Rock Kind.
Diet: They don't eat
Size: Little, About 30cm tall
Coloration/Markings: Always have a natural rock coloured back. Although the rock colours can range from Black to brown to red to a sandy orange or even precious and semi precious jewels.
Behaviour: Easily scared, very good at hiding.
Are they domesticated?: Some... But people still are unaware of their existence
Other interesting facts: I'm going to create an adoptable so I'll create a design for that in the second post that will tell you much much much more

Well if the answer's yes you're in the right place here you can adopt your very own Rock. Well not exactly. These little mammals are very easily scared, they're small and beautifully formed, with beautiful, large, sensitive ears. At the sound of footsteps they can curl up, wrapping they're dull tails up to conceal their beautiful coloured fronts, till they perfectly resemble little delicate rocks.

They don't need to eat, to drink, or to breathe. You couldn't harm one if you tried. They hatch out of rocks, then just lie they're curled up for a while, then they begin to move around dragging their tails behind them, they soon learn to bounce around and can move rapidly by crawling on their hands. They spend their time socialising with each other their favourite hobbies include sports including long jump, trampolining and high jump. They are also good swimmers and some Rock Kind who live on the beach become amphibious.

The rock patterns on their back take many forms: from the colour of the rocks you see around normally to more extreme hues of precious and semi precious stones, although these are rare. It is commonly accepted that siblings have the same back colourings. Their fronts have no limits and the variety of colours and patterns in existence is somewhat infinite.
